Where do I begin ? What a game , full of skill , endeavor , work rate , movement , great passing and above all played in a great spirit Clap

I knew Gedling would be a hard game and it proved so . They have some good players and were excellent opposition before our semi final next week .

Molly - The first player to acheive the 25 appearance milestone , an ever present since we started competitive football last season. A steady game , not much chance with either goal Clap
Orla - you were terrific in training yesterday and carried it on into today . Strong in the tackle , you really got stuck in and fully deserved  WOODLANDS MANAGERS PLAYER OF THE MATCH Star
Esther - you were up against an excellent number 9 today and she was a handful for you but you stood up well and played an excellent captains game Clap
Eloise - you popped in your third goal of the campaign and had a very good game , covering in defence very well - OPPOSITION MANAGERS PLAYER OF THE MATCH Clap
April - as normal you ran your socks off working very hard for the team and popping in another goal Clap
Rosie - a good game and you were up against a lot better opposition and you stood up well. You worked very hard and put in some lovely crosses particularly in the first half Clap
Rian - you too again worked hard and were rewarded with another goal , you also played it wide well when required Clap
Erin - a lively show as normal , you helped ease the pressure on our defence in the second half and that was just what we needed at times  Clap

Well obviously I am very pleased with that result against very good opposition . The girls worked very hard and had to dig in and grind the result out particularly in the second half . Those are qualities you need as well as skill if you are to be successful at any level Clap
The girls are  a credit to Woodlands FC and more importantly to all you wonderful parents - THANK YOU Wink
