On a foul morning we ventured off to Mackworth College for our first ever fixture against Derby County.

The pitch was moist to say the least and the wind got up but the girls performed admirably against some big and skillful girls .

Molly - 2 or 3 excellent saves , not much chance with their equaliser . It was a tricky day for handling the ball today and you did it very well . Your kicking gets better every week !
Lottie- another superb no nonsense display at right back . Some crunching tackles and excellent distribution
Eloise - same as Lottie really , very good and reliable
Esther - your usual superb display as always - what else can I say
Tessa - you came on in the second half and looked nearly back to your best today . Keep working hard in training , well done
April - tireless running as always  , some good through balls as well upto Erin in then second half , terrific goal  - WOODLANDS MANAGERS PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Rosie - you also covered alot of ground today and your vision and passing was as good as ever - OPPOSITION MANAGERS PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Rian - you worked hard today but the ball didn't seem to run for you today , keep working hard and your rewards will follow
Erin - very energetic run up front . You get yourself into the right positions , the goals will flow soon
Leanne - your chance will come soon , you have been excellent in training lately , keep up the good work

Having led the game for most of the game we were naturally dissappointed to concede a late goal , but like I said afterwards we were up against a skillful and big team today who will be near the top of the league at the end of the season .
The girls worked very hard and played as a unit and came off saying that they really enjoyed themselves , its great to hear that . They all knew they had been in a game and enjoyed it .
Thanks as always to Bryan and Rachael for their help today and as always a superb following from family and friends Clap
Work hard for Paul , Jon and Nick in training for the next 2 weeks and I will see you all on my return for the West Bridgford game Wink

Well done everybody ;

Tim  Big smile
