On our return to league action we got todays games on as we changed pitches to the rugby pitches . First things first many thanks to the following personnel who made it possible for the games to go ahead today ;
Alan , Richard & Dave from the U13's for the loan of the line marker and use of the pitch
Saleem and Jon in helping get set up this morning - THANK YOU GENTS MUCH APPRECIATED
Onto todays game and we were up against Linby and we needed a good performance to get warmed up for next weeks big one against Priory , and we got one
Molly - very quiet in goals so we gave you a run out at left wing back late on and you did very well in both positions . Another clean sheet which always please me . WOODLANDS FC MANAGERS PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Lottie - a solid game again , strong in the tackle as normal
Esther - you went quietly about your business with little fuss and used your pace well
Eloise - excellent all round game , getting forward well in the second half
April - another excellent game capped off by 2 more goals , 1 of which was an amazing finish
Rosie - superb vision and very good passing and movement as always , another 2 goals for you as well
Rian - you were superb in training yesterday and carried on today with another hat-trick , your positional sense and vision was much improved today
Leanne - your usual energetic performance which rubs off on all around you , great to see you getting forward and having a pop at goal
Orla - great to see you back on the pitch and you also played well , you get in the right positions , we just need the final finish
Tessa - you also played well when you came on , one pass you did out to Orla was terrific , excellent tackling
Erin - you also give us energy , you took your goal very well , turning on a sixpence !
OPPOSITION MANAGERS PLAYER OF THE MATCH
This was again an excellent team performance and just what we needed before next week . The girls all worked very hard and the communication was better which is something we have been working on
Thanks as always to Saleem and Paul for their coaching assistance and Natasha for reffing for us .
Also thanks to Jo for running the stall for both teams today , I know everybody appreciated it
