 A terrific advert for under 10's football was displayed at Woodlands School this morning . Both teams were very committed and it wasn't hard to see why these two teams are currently the top two .
The first half was shaded by Woodlands , whilst Priory had the better of the second half although Rian hit the Priory post late on .

Molly- very safe handling and good kicking , no chance with the goal
Lottie -  a few mis-timed tackles but excellent committment and you got stuck in
Esther - immaculate as always - WOODLANDS FC MANAGERS PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Eloise -  you worked very hard against a talented Priory front line , you struggled early on but got stronger as the game went on , some lovely passes up the flanks
April- as normal you ran your socks off working incredibly hard for the team , a couple of shots on goal but the Priory keeper is a good keeper
Rosie - every time you got the ball in the first half you created something , bagging our goal in the process . Terrific vision as always . Priory realised that they had to do something about it and take it as a compliment that their best player had to man mark you in the second half
Rian - what can I say ? Rian you were brilliant , you worked selfeshlly for the team , working very hard up front . You also passed the ball when required like we have been encouraging in training and it worked beautifully . That is your best ever peformance in a Woodlands shirt - OPPOSITION MANAGERS PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Erin -  a short burst on the left of midfield as we felt we couldn't change anything much today  , stick at it , your enthausiasm is great
Tessa -  you didn't get on today but don't worry , we couldn't change a lot today , your chance will come

All in all  Bryan and myself were very happy with that performance . You played as a team again and showed some superb battling qualities .

Thanks as always to Bryan for his words of wisdom , Rachael on the cards , Penny and Karen on the stall and a superb crowd that seems to get bigger and bigger every week !!!!!  Big smile

We move onto Derby County at home next week , lets see the same energy levels and committment and we won't go far wrong .

Thank you everybody ;

Tim Big smile
