Tessa - Tessa the Tank is back !!!!!! A superb no frills display today just when it was required
Eloise - You worked incredibly hard today and did all the basics well
April - superb running on the ball as always and some superb crosses , your first league goal for Woodlands FC and also hit the post - OPPOSITION MANAGERS PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Lottie - had a great game until injury struck , terrific effort in the first half that just went wide
Rian- your 100% effort and committment earnt you your first league goal for Woodlands FC, great team play , well done
Erin - Excellent league debut coming on for Lottie for the second half , your strength is running with ball like April , go for it and shoot on sight
Orla - your time will come , I couldn't change the team today with the way they were playing , keep working hard in training
Leanne- same as above Leanne , your time will also come
What a fantastic showing from our girls , they commanded the game from the first whistle and didn't give Wollaton any time on the ball which is what I asked for . The defence gave Molly one of her easier games which is ridiculous considering who we were playing .
We also created 3 or 4 more chances as well . You played as a team and fought for each other and that pleases me no end .
Both the Wollaton Manager and the referee said we deserved the win and commented on how well disciplined and organised you are - WELL DONE
Many thanks to our large following today , the odd time I turned round I could see you were as nervous as me !!!
